Overview
You will architect the power systems that keep our assets alive through long darkness and cold. This spans generation, storage, distribution, and management — sized for missions where resupply is not an option and every watt matters.
Responsibilities
- Architect solar generation, battery storage, and power distribution for surface systems
- Define and verify power budgets under worst-case environmental scenarios
- Specify and qualify batteries, BMS, and power electronics
- Develop test plans for thermal, lifecycle, and failure-mode behavior
Requirements
- Experience designing power systems with batteries and solar generation
- Understanding of battery management, cell balancing, and safety
- Familiarity with power electronics and distribution design
- EE or equivalent practical experience
Nice to have
- Experience with extreme-temperature battery operation
- Prior work on aerospace or remote power systems
- Thermal management of energy storage
